Meet Our Managment Team

Johannes Ziebarth - President/CEO

Business is exciting and life is great! Johannes' vibrant attitude allows him to work the kind of hours that rival his father's early days in the business. As President & CEO of Ziebarth Electric, Johannes is following in Paul's footsteps and working to break exciting new ground. As a project manager, Johannes has helped ZEC firmly establish itself as a local leader in the design-build method, and under his leadership, the company's transition to the 21st century is proving to be very rewarding for staff, clients and suppliers.

Victor Bert - Vice President of Operations

Victor started with Ziebarth Electric in 1979 as an apprentice fresh out of high school. Since those early days he  has done just about every job available in the electrical industry. Electrician, master electrician, foreman, general foreman, estimator, project manager and now is VP of operations!

Klaus Holzhuter - Service/Project Manager

As service manager and project manager, Klaus is kept very busy. From his first days as truck driver for Continental Electric, then as Paul Ziebarth's apprentice, Klaus has steadily increased his knowledge of the industry and is our chief problem-solver. Although we don't get very many call-backs, Klaus ensures that warranty work is handled to the full satisfaction of our clients. In his spare time, he coaches hockey and soccer.

Richard Gratton - Project Manager

Richard joined the electrical trade in 1978. With over 30 years of experience in the ICI sectors on projects of various sizes, Richard provides valuable knowledge to the day to day construction activities. His responsibilities at ZEC includes, project management, estimating, preparing budgets, firm quotations  for hard spec projects, design/buildprojects and green energy solutions. Richard presently holds a valid certificate of qualification for “Electrical Construction and Maintenance Controls”,“Industrial Electrician” and a “Master Electrician License”

David Lafond - Project Coordinator

David has been employed with Ziebarth Electrical since September 1999.As ZEC’s project co-ordinator he is an indispensable member of the team.  His experience with major suppliers gives him a unique view of the industry. He understands what makes the supply wheel run smoothly. David’s diversified experience in management, procurement, negotiation and troubleshooting has allowed him to co-ordinate most of our major projects.

Jen Lavigne - Controller

Jen has been the company’s Controller since 2001.  In addition to processing the weekly payroll for 50 to 150, she manages all aspects for the Ziebarth group of companies.   Jen’s previous experience as a self-employed entrepreneur gives her a well rounded view of all aspects of financial responsibility, and she applies her knowledge to keep ZEC’s paperwork impeccable.

Dan Glazer – Estimator

Dan started his electrical estimating career in 2007 with Ziebarth Electric, and has since been able to quickly learn essential estimating skills thanks to his dedication, determination and in part because of his electrical engineering degree that he obtained at the University of Ottawa. With a positive attitude and sense of humor, Dan is a team player who always strives to better himself in whatever task he is faced with. When Dan isn’t estimating, he’s most likely spending time with his wife, Maria, or with his friends playing golf or hockey, or keeping fit with his new past-time, running.
